TOPIC: US vs China

US vs China 2 years, 1 month ago #219742

Very hot topic, China believes they eventually have a war w/ America. Most of the things they do is to thwart our efforts world-wide. Their only true ally is Pakistan. They say they spend 70b/y on military we actually believe its somewhere around 105-110b/y. WE spend about 600b/y.

If and when it goes down who do you think will ally w/ others, how long it will last, and battlefield.

It would probably be US. UK, France, Germany, Canada, Russia, India, S korea, and Japan on our side.

China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, N. Korea,Iran, and possibly India.

It would take place around Iraq, Isreal, and the Pacific.

We definetly have the best airforce in the World, so that alone is enough to quell anything significant. And defintely the best Navy.

I think it would take about 4 years, first 2 China will be out leaving only the Middle East Theatre.

we would win. i mean if Japan could take over parts of china in WWII and hold onto them like they did then i dont think we would have much of a problem. might be a problem if we didnt invade them right off though and gave them time to mobilize and conscript more soldiers and they would press people into wartime production and be spitting out equipment and supplies pretty fast.

personally i think the Airforce branch of our military should be disbanded every other branch of our military has there own airforce. just my two cents not meant to offend anyone.

we will see what happens though, china would lose in the end i am sure though. we are the greatest military force in the world for a reason

Let me make this known.

China's numbers mean nothing. THey have more protest than anyother country by far, so if war broke out than there will be an underground army. Plus they got to make the guns and equipment to supply their soldiers.

I doubt the Japanese are going to be the same like in WWII. Back in WWII they were very fuedal? As in, old samurai way type. More feisty, imperialistic. Now, they are completely americanized. They are smart just, I doubt they will be the same as in WWII.

What about the nukes? Nuclear holocaust :/

I agree that Japan was much more imperialistic at that time but I wouldn't use the word "Americanized" to serve the point that they have become more domesticated or passive. America is known to be the most imperialistic nation on this planet.

x3ro, China has the most protesters yea, but that's most likely due to the fact that they hold 1/6th of humanity. A country doesn't just "believe" they will go to war with another country, just as no one could have guessed the US would have bombed Libya, only very select few people know this kind of stuff. We just don't have the intel for that, neither do Chinese citizens. The US invests too much money in China anyway. We're forced to have good relations with them. China also has dues it needs to collect from the US. The two economies are very interdependent of each other, making a war unlikely. Like someone said, America has the best military force in the world, why would anyone wanna mess with us? This is why we have an iron fist, this is why we're imperialistic.

I feel as though your thinking about this as if its an arcade fighting game, like Marvel vs Capcom. Your asking us to pick a main player, pick your remaining back up players, and then a stage where we wanna play.

yeah i definitely agree with you spider. some good points made especially about the two economies being interdependent of each other. very true.

also having lived in Japan for three years while my dad was stationed there i wouldnt call them americanized. you all are seeing japanese people in America not Japanese people in Japan lol they still have a high sense of honor and loyalty.

also i wasnt talking about japan entering the war i just wanted you all to know that numbers dont mean much when a superior trained force has the element of surprise and employs maneuver warfare on the enemy. number meant nothing when japan took china. just like it means nothing for us.

in Korea 1 Marine Corps Division destroyed 9 Chinese Divisions while they were leaving the Chosin Reservoir

China is far more likely to have a civil war than to start a war with us. We can see with the Tiananmen Square internal conflict the people of China want political reform, not war with the world's largest superpower. And secondly... China can not even afford to have a war against us since nearly half of their country is on the poverty line and shares a similar lifestyle to those of sub saharan Africa. What makes you possibly think that China wants to attack us?

You China's already given out their plan. Although they say its not against the US but list te country as a superpower. And that more in likely it is to happen in 2012 when the Chinese President steps down and the elections in Taiwan are held. Well if Taiwan wants independence from the mainland(China) and if they invade then any country that gives support to Taiwan is going to be attacked by China.

China is using the theory of hit first and hit hard. They'll go after our comms. and try to kill as much people as possible. So that here at home we will be against the war.
And also start a space war by taking down our satellites, but we got micro-satellites being developed now. And also using nuclear warfare to cause an emp above the Pacific. Of which we said is in our eyes an act of nuclear warfare and we do return in kind.

China will hit first, there has been plenty of times Chinas almost crossed that border, but in 2012 I believe we will go to war w/ China given how the Chinese and Taiwanese new leaders go about.

Xero, you're delusional.

US vs China 2 years, 1 month ago #220076

Spider I understand you calling me delusional. But everything I have stated is known facts. We will fight China one day. Its inevitable, and yes I'm saying that it would be like an aracade fighting game. Allies against another group of allies thats what war is.

The only thing that could prevent war is MAD(mutually assured destruction) and any war between 2 superpowers will end w/ devastating blows to all countries that are involved. The only way that anyon could gain anything out of it is to end it as quickly as possible.

We still have many months to go. But it might not happen soon but it will happen. No denying that.
