Heres a small comparison between MW3 & BF3,
and I mostly took their Campaigns into consideration .





Campaign modes are important because it tells a story to the player.
In the Action/Shooter genre of videogames,its the campaign that tries to bring
kills ,deaths ,bullets,explosions,aliens,humans,machines.all together
to bring the player into a world of thrill and excitement.That combined with visuals and sound,
many games that have done it well to create long lasting impressions in the minds of gamers.
A campaign mode of a game is the core of the package.Its the effort of the game studio where
their imagination ,creativity in visual arts and sound compositionto to create an amazing game
that people will love and keep buying.





Here are two games that are similar in play style but differ in the way the combat is approached.
Here are the similarities and comparisons

PLOT
the plot for both games are basically the same, stop the Russians from taking over or destroying the world.They both tell the story through different characters perspectives,but BF3 tells it clearer
and simpler. At the end of the day,Mw3s plot and story just isnt told to the player in an interesting
and easy to follow way.

Gameplay
BF3 has solid and fun gameplay , but MW3s feels like its done by a team who found a great recepie
for the FPS genre.MW3s gameplay is just so refined, that it outshines BF3s take on warfare with unmatched gameplay mechanics
and overthetop action

besically both games come at an average lenght ( depending on difficuly) of about
5-8 hours..

Although BF3 has a very small but great soundtrack to go with certain scenes in the game,
MW3 has a much better sound to its guns and explosions.

MW3 reuses its engine once again, and in comparison to BF3 .....there is no comparison.
BF3 pushes its visuals to come out as the clear winner.MW3s has so much going on in some of its
levels that its visuals hinder its capabilities of what could have been some amazing looking
battlegounds.BF3 uses a more polished and realistic look to its game that suck you into a world of
feasable war events and missions. and outscores
MW3 by alot.

Weapons
 
One main reason gameplay flows so well in MW3 is its weapon system.Each gun feels different
and feels so powerful and realistic.Hands down, weapons and selection is done better in MW3.

Characters
 
Both games fail to develp characters who you truly connect and care for.Wether its subpar voice work
or the story itself isnt told in an interesting way the player can inmerse in...the characters in the games
are forgettable.Even tho MW3 has returning and firmiliar faces/ I feel like BF3 does a slightly better job of telling a clearer story wich helps the characters gain a face and importance once you see the story through their eyes in the game.

MP

Multiplayer is approached a bit differently in each game.Essentially both games are run and gun style shooters.
One offers feroucious tactical gameplay and the other throws in vehicles into the mix.
For me,noth games feel like SWAT in Halo.The games are too easy ,especially MW3 because
the speed of the game is lighning fast and its extremely easy to get killed or get a kill.
Same with BF3 but gameplay is slowed down by map sizes.Then again max players on map and
vehicles help it from feeling like an empty warzone.Extemsive upgrades and perks add to the fun
of both multyplayer modes.

All in all, both are great games. Battlefield 3 gives you gameplay that would be a more accurate and
realistic experience in a real combat, whereas MW3 gives you the experience of a blockbuster
action movie.They both have their Ups and downs and it basically comes down to each of the games
style of Multiplayer.Thats whats gonna define who plays what. But this is just a comparison of the
two Campaign modes and I feel like the Battlefield did enough to upgrade their series to warrant
a 60$ price tag.And although MWs formula is proven to work and is done great, it basically
can be categorized as an add on to MW1 or 2 ,basically an Expansion pack with a few cool multiplayer tweaks and game modes.


 
IMO both games are fun and amazing and will last the test of time with its legions of fans,
but Battlefield 3 campaign comes out on top but only by a nose hair

Audio definitely goes to MW3, multiplayer is just up to what kind of gameplay a person likes. as for the graphics, yes BF3 has good graphics, but I definitely would not say that they outshine MW3 by A LOT. The graphics in MW3 are still a cut above.

I dont even really like comparing the two games but every time a BF game comes out DICE and EA say that its going to be the next COD killer and that is never the case. I think overall MW3 offers a more well rounded package with survival mode, spec ops mode, private matches, a lot of different game types, kill streaks, perks etc.

No, they definitely outshine MW3 by a lot. If you don't have an hd tv or something then I could see how you would be confused. But in glorious 1080P no game looks as good as BF3....cept for maybe Rage.

Yeah the visuals on MW3 are inferior by quite a bit even on 720p.
And add to the fact that theres a HD texture pack optional download for BF3 .
MW3 visuals dont suck but they def looked aged and rusty compared .

Not even being a fanboy here of the COD series but i dont see it either. mw3 graphics are still top quality to me multiplayer wise. again not saying that BF3 maps dont outshine mw3 graphics wise but i still feel like MW3 player models look better. i just dont see bf3 blowing out mw3

no it doesnt, and wont change magically just cause you say its so. my 19" HD TV makes anything look great and when I play battlefield its on my buddies 42" 1080 TV. It doesnt blow it out

Yay for BF3.

yeah i saw that, my friend posted it in a message on XBL. doesnt change the fact that MW3 still broke record sales, and has more people consistently playing at all times. i just like the faster paced game play and arcade style feel and thats what matters to me

At the end of the day I love that I have to lead my shots and account for bullet drop in BF3, MW3 just feels the same, more camping, more quick scoping, and no way to actually tactically take advantage of the situation as I can with my friends in BF3. I mean for fucks sakes, holding an area in BF3 is actually hard, due to destroyable environments, throw vehicles into the mix and you have a recipe for hundreds of ways to physically take a spot and hold it, or completely blow the defenses of the spot to shit along with the people in it and take it for yourself. Not only that, but there are certain kills you can only get with the Battlefield series... For instance getting a headshot on a helicopter pilot with a tank... This is only possible in BF and that was a once in a lifetime kill for me something I probably will never repeat... I also love throwing C4 on a buggy driving it into the enmy stronghold where ever that may be on any given map at any given time, jumping out at the last second and blowing them all to shit. Things not possible with MW3...
