Since I made a few wallpapers, I've been curious as to what everyone's desktop background looks like. All you gotta do is hit the "Print screen" button, open up paint and hit "ctrl+v" to paste, then upload it to imageshack or photobucket and paste the image link here.

I only just got my laptop back three days ago. My hard drive crashed, so I still need to reinstall a bunch of the programs I used to have... The reason behind my blank programs.

yea. about 80 layers of all brushes haha. took a good couple days to complete Its my biggest project by far and I'm really proud of it

There's GIMP, but its not that great; not as many tools. I'll look some up, and report back with some free online gfx programs

GIMP is the best you can get for free i believe.

Computer gfx are quite a bit different than normal art, but you might have an eye for it.

lol search google and see if you can find some tutorials for something that looks interesting. Then just apply whatever you learned to a new picture of your own

Other then the text I kind of like it. Has that military grudge look that I am use to.

what would you suggest for the text? i didnt really know what you could or could not do with the text so i just went plain jane with it pretty much. i wanted something more grittier but didnt know how to do it.

Yea, it actually looks pretty good. The text isn't that bad, I wouldn't make it plain white tho. It stands out too much. Maybe put that sepia color over the text to blend it more. It looks a lot better than my first photoshop attempt haha

Yeah no kidding, I wonder if I have my old photoshop work. I don't think so that was 7 years ago, but I will look.

hmmm how do i do the sepia layover for the text? just have the text in there then press sepia on the home menu thingy?
and thanks lol i just kept messing around seeing what all everything would do. its a lot of different stuff that i have no clue what each button press will do haha

I've never used that program, but that sounds like it would work. Give it a shot.

I've got my first ever sig lol. its embarrassing. I'll post it tho.
