Update from Shadow Clan: Name Change, New Logo and Tourney Update

Announcement from Shadow Clan concerning tournament changes:

Team & Clan Community,

After 17 yrs of existence Shadow Clan will be retired and be put to rest as the Shadows transition into the next chapter of our team! We created a new image and name to open up our image in the gaming industry. With the the support of a new Lan & Online Gaming Company the Shadows will be the first official team of this new company. Our name will change to "Legion of Shadows Gaming" or for short "Legion of Shadows"! Effective immediately the name change will take place as reflected on our site, www.ShadowClanFAF.com will still be the web address temporarily.
The 1st Annual Tourney of Shadows will be postponed due to recent new sponsorships, Gaming Company support along with our sponsors and good friends at Clantacular.com that will allow us to provide a much better Tournament and Experience for the Gamers. As a result the prizes will be more significant. The Tourney playlist will also be expanded and will allow many more gamers to participate. We will provide the same MLG style 4v4 with the new additions that will include 2 v 2 Team Doubles as well as MLG FFA! Each will be in the Same 32 Team Bracket Setup.
The Legion of Shadows will be presenting this tourney as the 1st Annual Tourney of Shadows but the new gaming company will be hosting the event and will be the official sponsors of this event along with Clantacular.com and a list of other Sponsors. Some great News also is that along with this 1st tourney there will be Circuit of Tournaments scheduled that will be provided on the new site of this gaming company in both Halo 3, & MW2 for the following months leading into next year. The new tentative date for the 1st Annual Tourney of Shadows is June 19th & 20th starting at 12pm. I say tentative as many decisions are still being finalized.
In closing as all details are finalized and the official flyers are released you will be able to stay updated through www.Clantacular.com, www.ShadowClanFAF.com as well as the new gaming company's website for all details. This new company will release its identity & website once all things are finalized on there part. Stay tuned for many new updates and great news for all gamers.

Halo Reach Multiplayer Clan Matches

Well it appears Halo Clan Matches will make a come back later this year with the new features in Halo Reach Multiplayer. In fact, this may be even bigger than COD MW2! Check out the anticipated action!

New Ladder System Coming in March

We didn't make all of these upgrades for nothing! Clantacular has been one of the leading halo clan match sites since 2006. Our old system was known to minimize the administration of clan matches by using Bungie RSS to submit a match. This was awesome and will be missed... :(

The new system does not yet allow for rss submission, so its almost a step back, however, by reverting to a manual submission system we have opened our channel to multiple games, even platforms if needed in the near future. With Halo 2 being dropped from live (WTF!), Halo Reach coming out soon and the success of Call of Duty, we can see that having a Halo 3 clan match site for the next couple of years would be very difficult if we couldn't address the new games hitting the market.

So in the next few weeks, we will be adding our new ladder system to the current site and starting up some battles. The new ladder system will be totally up to date code with an abundance of features.
